Raquel Lopez Actor / Vocalist / Model

Raquel Lopez is a graduate from Jacksonville University. With her BFA in Musical Theatre, she is not new to the stage. Raquel was born in The Bronx, New York. Being a musical Theatre major came no surprise to Raquel, nor her family. Raquel (Rocky) has been in shows such as I Love You You’re Perfect

Now Change, Myths and Hymns, Little Women, as Meg, Thoroughly Modern Millie, as Mrs. Meers, The Last Five Years as Cathy, and A Grand Night as Victoria. Raquel has a wide range of talents, and has been in, and participated in, some operas as well; including The Gondoliers, as The Duchess, and Street Scene. Raquel is part of Alpha Psi Omega, and served as publicist. She is also the event coordinator for National Association of Teachers of Singing (SNATS), and the secretary for the International Student Association (ISA).

“I feel like I have a wide range of colors in my voice. I think that I can transition into different styles very well.” Rocky hopes that she can one day take her gifts, and share them on the Broadway stage. “ It’s not just a story that I want to portray, it’s more than that. It’s emotion and a part of me. With everything I do, I always give all that I have. If I can have just one person feel what I am feeling when I am singing, acting, or dancing… all the hard work pays off.”
