Walt Disney World is holding auditions in New York, New York on March 17, 2015 for the following discipline:

• Singers

Disney Creative Entertainment is seeking male and female vocalists for Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage; a cast of dancers and singers who create a dazzling stage show that invites you to "Be Our Guest" at Theatre of the Stars in the Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ and Festival of the Lion King; an African-inspired celebration of the music from the feature film. This original musical theatre production will be performed live in the NEW state of the art, indoor, 1500 seat theatre-in-the-round in Disney's Animal Kingdom®. Both are performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

Potential relocation packages may be available to qualified performers that are hired into specific roles.

Performers employed by the Walt Disney World Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with Actors' Equity Association.

Seeking the following role:
Festival of the Lion King
• Kiume: The Leader. Must have a strong and powerful presence; Male resonant baritone/bass. 5'10" - 6'2"
• Zawadi: The Gift. "Mother Earth" to all who know her. Female gospel mezzo-soprano with high belt. 5'5" - 5'8"
• Nakawa: The Prince. Good looking and confident. Male pop/R&B second tenor. 5'8" - 5'10"
• Kibibi: The Princess. Sweet and impatient. Female pop/gospel second soprano with high belt to E. 5'4" - 5'8"

Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage
• Belle: Eager village girl who falls in love with a beast, who becomes the prince of her dreams. 5'4"-5'7", female musical theatre mix/belt to E. Must portray 16 - 20 years of age. Typecast.
• Gaston: Male, arrogant, self-centered egotist who tries to get Belle to marry him. 6'3" or taller, male operatic resonant baritone with a top G. Typecast

Requirements:
• Performers must be at least 18 years of age.
• Please provide a current headshot and resume.
• Prepare 16 bars of a musical selection and provide sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided.
