Walt Disney World is holding auditions in New York, New York on March 14, 2015 for the following discipline:

• Disney Character Look-alikes, Disney Character Performers, and Parade Performers

DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM AUDITIONS:

Male and Female performers are needed to bring to life the world famous Disney Characters. Character performers play before thousands of guests each day in meet and greets, across the Walt Disney World Resort. Some performers may have the opportunity to perform as Disney Characters in our parades and events, and as Disney Character Look-alikes.

FULL TIME PERFORMER AUDITIONS:
We are also seeking performers for FULL TIME Character Performer roles for Shows and Parades across the Walt Disney World Resort. Our performers bring to life shows such as Festival of the Lion King, Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, and many more! We are not seeking Part Time, or Seasonal (Summer only) Performers.

Additionally, we are seeking FULL TIME female Disney Princess Look-alikes. Performers develop improvisational skills, poise and grace while working for one for the world's leading entertainment companies. We are not seeking Part Time, or Seasonal (Summer only) Performers.

**Please note that all performers, including those in our Shows and Parades, and Disney Character Look-alikes, also perform as fully costumed Disney Characters. This involves wearing potentially heavy costumes, some with limited vision and range of motion, and exposure to hot and humid weather.**


What all performers should expect:
• All performers will learn a simple movement/dance routine.
• Following this routine, there will be an initial cut.
• Selected performers will then learn additional dance routines, as well as animation exercises.
• We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, allowing a full range of movement. • Dresses, skirts, tight jeans, flip flops, or high heel shoes are not recommended.
• The audition process can last anywhere from 1 - 6 hours.
• We strongly recommend bringing bottled water and a snack.

• Many dance studios do not allow street shoes.
• We recommend bringing a clean pair of dance shoes or sneakers, in your bag, to change into upon your arrival.
• Character heels, jazz heels, or any type of high heel shoe are NOT ALLOWED in this studio.

Requirements:
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the United States.
• College Program applicants must currently be enrolled in college/university taking at least one class at time of application and audition.
• Full Time applicants must be willing to relocate to the Orlando area, and be available for at least one year of full time work.
• Audition scores are only valid for six months.
• You must be able to begin work within the next six months in order to attend this audition.
• Advanced registration is not required.
